Movie Reviews & Whatnot:

The Social Network  (Netflixed)

Okay, so I realize it took me awhile to see this one since it’s been out since 2010, but nonetheless I saw it and here’s what I think about it: Fantastic film. Firstly, Jesse Eisenberg was obviously excellent! I think he did a brilliant job of becoming Mark Zuckerberg. The fast talking, know-it-all, sharp-witted creator of Facebook. Not to mention Andrew Garfield is also a great actor and really does a great job. As for Justin Timberlake , eh, I could take him or leave him. He does do a good job of playing a complete jerk, and he’s definitely believable as that character. I’d give this movie a 9 out of 10. I think it tells the story well, and let’s face it, it’ll be hard for me to give anything with Jesse Eisenberg a bad review.

The Vow (In Theaters)

I saw this with a friend this past weekend and thought overall it was a pretty good film. Going into it I didn’t realize it was a true story, and in my opinion, that always makes a story a hundred times more interesting when I find out that the actors are portraying actual people, actual lives. Of course Rachel McAdams was superb, and Channing Tatum, to my surprise, did an exceptional job. It’s definitely a tear-jerker, but since seeing this movie, I’ve thought back on specific scenes in the movie, and in my mind, if a movie can randomly come into my “everyday” thoughts, it’s a good movie that deserves a watch. I’d give this one an 8 out of 10.

As always, I’d love ya’lls feedback!! Let me know if you’ve seen these movies and what you thought of them!!
